The company's growth has also been accelerated through successful completion of two acquisitions (Gateway Industrial Cargo in 1997 and CTC Distributors in 1999). Martec's Father & Son heritage extended to the third generation with Thomas (Alex) Ewig, Jr. joining in 1985.
